The technology is supported by toolkits and a library of languages and integrates with most enterprise systems to allow a complete telephony portfolio, including voice control.
Post CTI believes the deal allows it to offer its customers a best-of-breed selection of products and complements its existing distributorships with Envox and Dialogic. Because these two companies also work with Vocalis, the customer has the chance to opt for a one-stop-shop should they wish to.
Minesh Patel, technical director of Vocalis, said the deal would benefit both parties. "This partnership will help drive the adoption of voice-driven telephony solutions across the UK," he commented.
Post CTI will sell the product to its network of partners, which include communications resellers and developers. For other customers it also offers a comprehensive system configuration and server build service.
