E-minister in passage to India for e-skills

E-commerce minister Patricia Hewitt was in India this week on a visit aimed at building e-business links with the technology hot-house.

"We all know about B2C and B2B. Now we have B2I - Britain to India," she said. "My message to India's IT companies is very simple: as the English say, 'Come on in, the water's lovely'."

The official visit is aimed at promoting links between Indian and British business leaders, particularly in the IT sector.
