Bizworks is an integration platform for the diverse range of ERP, financial, supply chain and banking applications that CA acquired through its past buy-outs.

It is built on CA's Jasmine II Internet infrastructure platform, and provides a range of services to enterprise applications, such as performance monitoring, data analysis and visualisation.
The platform includes predictive capabilities through CA's Neugent technology and a rules-based engine called AION. It can be used to provide management with a user-friendly, high-level view of a company's financial and production systems. CA will attempt to sell Bizworks to users of non-CA enterprise software, helping them to link enterprise software within departments of an organisation as well as those of customers and suppliers.
To this end it has said that it plans to spin off parts of InterBiz in a bid to accelerate the launch of hosted applications in the application service provider model.
However, CA will face stiff competition from other enterprise business integration specialists such as IBM, Oracle and the big four consultancy companies.
