CA to rejig sales team



CA chose the eve of its world conference in New Orleans to totally restructure its sales organisation.

In a bid to boost its services revenues, which failed to reach a target of $1bn (£658m) for 1999, the company has merged its product and services sales teams into one "solution sales" team.

The company is desperate to drop its reputation as a technology-focused organisation and become regarded as a business services provider in the same vein as its software rivals.
