PCG doubles its membership levels

The Professional Contractors Group (PCG), an organisation that represents the interests of contractors, has doubled its membership in the first six months of operation. It has over 5,000 members and expects this figure to rise to over 10,000 by April.

It claims to be have fastest growth rate of any representative body within the UK, and has recently welcomed the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) onboard as an associate members.

Susie Hughes, a spokeswoman for the PCG said, "The PCG aims to become an 'industry body' for contractors next year, allowing contractors to share information on a number of relevant issues."
