Businesses struggling with server recovery yet failing to test, according to Veeam
Nearly two-thirds (63%) of companies experience problems every month when attempting to recover a server, but only 2% of server and virtual machine backups are tested for recoverability each year, according to VMware data management vendor Veeam Software. The vendor's survey of 500 IT directors suggests that such failed recoveries can cost the average enterprise more than $400,000 every year.
