
IPC locates Electronic Connectivity Services at Interxion's data centres
Colocation service provider Interxion has announced that IPC will locate its core Electronic Connectivity Services (ECS) infrastructure at
Interxion's Financial Hub in London and Vienna. IPC provides trading communication solutions to
financial services firms worldwide, and its private network connects over 200 cities across six
continents.
Atrium implements 300 network endpoints through Juniper
Atrium Network has implemented more than 300 network endpoints using switching, routing and security solutions from Juniper Networks. Atrium
provides connectivity to financial services companies, and the firm's new network will provide them
with a platform for trading and market data applications, in addition to Extranet access for its
global clients.
Infortrend adds SFF disk system to EonStor DS Family
Storage vendor Infortrend has added a small-form-factor (SFF) disk storage system to the EonStor DS family. The
system is designed with a 2U chassis accommodating twenty-four 2.5-inch disk drives.
Shoden Data Systems expands reseller agreement with Luminex to all of Europe
Server and data storage vendor Shoden Data Systems UK has expanded its reseller
relationship with Luminex from covering the UK to all of Europe. Luminex Software provides
Channel Gateway mainframe virtual tapes. Shoden has already installed its solution in grocer
J.Sainsburys in London and service provider RZV in Essen, Germany.
Red Bend acquires VirtualLogix
Mobile software management company Red Bend has acquired VirtualLogix to announce its entrance into the mobile virtualisation
market. VirtualLogix makes virtualisation for both x86 and Arm processors but it focuses on mobile
virtualisation, which separates software from mobile hardware. Terms of the deal were not
disclosed.
