Law firm deploys Brocade DCX Backbone switches

The Brocade devices will link newly equipped data centres in the UK and Germany and let Clifford Chance manage assets from a single location while consolidating existing disparate storage systems.

The firm already had Brocade 24000 director switches, but this implementation consolidated the fabric onto devices of a higher port count and moved to the newer DCX switches. Another gain from the project was to move Clifford Chance's disaster recovery provision from the UK to Germany.
