Qatar University signs deal with Mahindra Satyam for ERP contract

Qatar University has signed a deal with Mahindra Satyam, formerly Satyam Computer Services, for a large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) contract.

Qatar University has signed a deal with Mahindra Satyam, formerly Satyam Computer Services, for a large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) contract.

The contract will be implemented over a nine-month period and will include the deployment of the Oracle E-Biz Suite R12, to streamline the various business processes of the university's different departments.

"The implementation of Oracle's comprehensive product suite will help us strengthen financial management and control, supply chain management, customer service and HR functionalities," said Saeed Rashid Al-Athba, IT director at Qatar University.
