BT has confirmed that its regulated infrastructure arm, Openreach is to offer fibre to the premises broadband access at 110mbps by next March, for around £21.50 a month.

The service will be available in its FTTP sites, Bradwell Abbey, Milton Keynes and Highams Park, North London. The "indicative pricing for FTTP" is £258 per year, a BT spokesman said.

Customers will receive a guaranteed 20mbps prioritised rate downstream and 15mbps upstream.

BT said communications providers would have to go through the normal Openreach channels to sign up.
