Ford has extended its outsourcing deal with CSC.

The manufacturer's German arm will continue to outsource core infrastructure and application management for its customer service division to the IT services firm.

Under the agreement, some 19 European markets where the car maker operates are covered, including the UK in the North West, West Midlands and Oxfordshire.

The partnership between Ford and CSC was established 15 years ago and it has evolved to include offshore services to its Europe and US operations.

This follows CSC's announcement last week of a $580m deal with financial services giant UBS for networking services.
