Microsoft is to introduce enhancements to its Bing search
engine, including some that rely on
"Google killer" mathematical modelling toolWolfram Alpha.
The tool will give Bing the ability to do calculations, ranging
from the very simple to the more complex.
These include finding what fruits contain more vitamins or
working out body mass index, according to a Microsoft
blog post.
"The improved nutrition and fitness results are just a few of
the computational search results that our partnership with Wolfram
Alpha will bring to Bing," the post said.
The partnership will also enable Bing to solve complex maths
functions and to provide information about unique maths
concepts.
