Microsoft is releasing six security patches to address 15
vulnerabilities, with half categorised as "critical".
The bulletins affect Windows and Microsoft Office, with the
prior requiring a system restart.
But the Office patches may not face such disruption "if the
components of the software are not in use", said the
Microsoft Security Responce Center.
Last month Microsoft released a record Patch Tuesday monthly
security update for its software, with 13 patches aimed at fixing
34 vulnerabilities. The previous record of 12 security patches in a
month was set in February 2007 and matched again in October
2008.
