Don Trotta, a former CIO and technology head of several big
banks, is taking responsibility for SAP's financial services
division.
Trotta will be responsible for product strategy, development and
overall market positioning activities for SAP in the banking and
insurance industries globally.
Prior to SAP, he founded management advisory service
Technology
Directions.
Trotta became group chief information officer for Barclays in
2005, where he was responsible for overseeing a £1.6bn technology
operations budget globally. Prior to that he was chief technology
officer for Citibank North America and founded and chaired the
Operations & Technology Council which governs Citibank's
international technology and operations activities.

technology demands in the industry globally, Don will greatly
