German regulators have approved
Deutsche Telekom's takeover of SAP's hosting business in
Europe.
The business will be merged with DT's €9.3bn services arm
T-Systems which will
migrate SAP system supportfor some 90 large and medium-sized
customers to its own data centres.
The transaction will not involve any transfer of staff or fixed
assets, DT said.
T-Systems already provides online customised SAP services to
groups such as Shell, MAN and Linde via Deutsche Telekom's
network.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
