Cisco has today announced it is extending its 0% financing
offer for SME customers in Europe to include all its unified
communications and network technologies.
The networking supplier also added several new bits of kit to
its SME portfolio, including network security and collaboration
tools.
In addition, Cisco has set up a "profitability framework", which
it claims will help channel partners build profitable practices
around its small business portfolio.
The framework includes new Partner Development Fund (PDF) tracks
and new Small Business PDF that provides a quarterly sales-based
stipend to qualifying resellers, and new deal registration and
programme intelligence tools.
Cisco vice-president of worldwide small business sales, Andrew
Sage, said the new initiatives would "help channel partners build
and sustain a profitable small business practice".
The updates to the programme build on a series of enhancements
originally announced at Cisco's Partner Summit in June.
