Apple has released patches for six vulnerabilities in its Safari
web browser for Mac and Windows, just a month after the
last update.
The Safari 4.0.3
security update fixes six flaws in the Windows XP and Vista
edition and four in the Mac OS X edition.
Three of the vulnerabilities were in the WebKit browser engine
that could lead to computer hijacking, the disclosure of sensitive
information and redirection to fake websites.
The update can be downloaded from Apple's site or by running
Software Update on the Mac and the bundled Apple Software Update on
Windows.
