China watchdog slams Google porn

The internet watchdog in China has criticised Googlefor failing tostopporn being spread in China on the internet.

According to Reuters, the China Internet Illegal Information Reporting Center said it had complained twice to Google.

"Google China has not conducted the oversight required according to China's laws and regulations, and a large volume of foreign internet pornographic information has entered our borders through this website," the China Internet Illegal Information Reporting Center (CIIRC)said.

The CCIIRC was set up in 2004. It is a non-governmental organisation registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China.
