The Carphone
Warehouse is to bundle the Panda Software security suite and
the Ability productivity software on its broadband laptops.
Carphone has struck a deal with
Formjet, which resells the
software in the UK.
Its versions of Ability and Panda Software will be preinstalled
on computers provided by The Carphone Warehouse as part of its
broadband offering.
The software will be free to users for 30 days, after which full
versions can be unlocked on the computers if paid for.
The software will be loaded on up to 100,000 computers a month,
said Formjet.
