A
blog
posting on F-Secure has ridiculed the supposedly high level of
security used on Facebook.
The posting claims that the questions Facebook asks users who
wish to contact its staff are too easy to crack. "Mother's
birthday? - Father's middle name? - Third grade teacher? Security
challenge questions based on social information is probably not the
best of ideas on a social networking site," according to
F-Secure.
The company said these questions can easily be answered by
friends within the social networking site.
