Indian IT services provider HCL Technologies has signed a six-year deal to provide manufacturer Xerox with datacentre services after replacing incumbent EDS.

The agreement, which is believed to be worth about $100m, will see HCL manage datacentre hosting and migration, virtualisation, consolidation and storage architecture services in Europe and North America.

" Datacentre environments are the heart of our business operations and we look to partner with companies that can manage our centers and take them to the next level," said John McDermott, CIO at Xerox.
