Microsoft is launching a service that allows Windows Mobile
users to synchronise and store data from their mobile device to the
web.
The free
My Phone service will provide space to store photos, videos,
text messages and calendar items.
Users will be able to share the data with others as well as
using the service as a back-up service.
More details about My Phone are expected to be revealed at next
week's Mobile World
Congress show in Barcelona. My Phone will initially be released
as a beta.
My Phone is currently limited to users running mobile devices
equipped with Windows Mobile 6, but it is expected to be compatible
with the forthcoming Windows Mobile 6.5.
