National Grid has awarded Vodafone a £5m three-year mobile voice
and data contract.
Vodafone will provide telemetry SIMs for diagnosing potential
issues within the UK
electricity and gas network.
Vodafone will also provide embedded SIMs in laptops. Mobile
broadband devices will ensure field engineers have connectivity and
access to company information at all times as part of the deal.
