
BT Business is offering free mobile broadband to SMEs if they
sign up to a fixed line broadband package.
BT Business Total Broadband Options 2 and 3 now include a mobile
broadband service at no extra charge.
BT’s new Access Manager software enables businesses to
automatically access a fast mobile connection via BT Openzone Wi-Fi
hotspots or mobile networks including GPRS, 3G, and
HSDPA/HSUPA.
Bill Murphy, managing director of BT Business, said, “We are
focused on giving customers better value and greater flexibility in
the face of the tougher business climate."
BT Business Total Broadband customers eligible for free mobile
broadband get a free plug and play USB data stick to make a fast,
secure and easy connection to a mobile network or a Wi-Fi
hotspot.
BT Business Mobile Broadband is available for £17.50 a month for
those firms choosing the more basic Total Broadband Option 1
package.
The free mobile broadband package to Option 2 and 3 users is
available until the end of the year.
