Midlands Co-op
Travel has deployed the
IMX Travel Money online
system to streamline its foreign currency exchange facility.
IMX's Travel Money Exchange (TMX) platform is managing branch
currency ordering and fully automating travel bureaux at more than
80 Midlands Co-op Travel outlets across the region.
By implementing TMX, Midlands Co-op Travel has the ability to
maintain real-time control of its branch network. Central
administration can view, manage and report on inventory, products,
fees and rates, via a secure front-end that has been specifically
tailored to meet its requirements.
By centralising this administration, manual interaction is
greatly reduced which significantly reduces the level of errors.
Head office can see what inventory is held at a cashier level and,
during the day, it can receive real-time information on the type of
transactions being performed, at what time and by whom.
David Haywood, foreign exchange manager at Midlands Co-op
Travel, said, "This upgrade to our existing travel exchange
technology provides a real time solution for our travel bureau
facility."
