Cisco plans to reshuffle its top UK
management line-up.
The move is expected to result in the departure of UK and
Ireland boss Duncan Mitchell, says CRN, which learned of the
changes through a leaked e-mail from the company
CRN says Mitchell has accepted a position within Cisco's
emerging markets business. He will be replaced by Phil Smith, who
is currently vice-president of technology and corporate
marketing.
Cisco UK and Ireland channels managing director John Donovan is
moving across to the direct sales business to take leadership of
the enterprise and mid-market business.
The changes will be effective from 1 August, the start of
Cisco's financial year.
