Agilent Technologies is launching four new test measurement systems for triple-play multimedia services.

Agilent's N2X Multiplay Test Solution combines performance statistics for video, voice and data services on the same test port.

This feature makes it possible for service providers and network equipment manufacturers to identify how the behaviour of subscribers and traffic mix impacts the overall quality of experience.

In addition, the new Microsoft Mediaroom AV quality assurance system, designed for use with Agilent's Triple Play Analyzer platform, will accelerate the development and deployment of Mediaroom-based networks and ensure quality of experience is maintained, said Agilent.

There is also WireScope Pro, with new VoIP and Gigabit Ethernet test and traffic generation capabilities, which allow network administrators and integrators to validate the quality of voice services and test network links.

Finally, Agilent's Network Tester has been upgraded to accelerate the development and deployment of intelligent high performance multiplay network offerings.
