Dyfed Powys Police has selected ICCM's service management system
to improve the force's IT helpdesk services and align with the
IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service delivery standard.
Dyfed Powys is using the e-Service Desk platform to improve
users' experience of the helpdesk.
Chris Dumpleton, IS&T service desk supervisor for Dyfed
Powys Police, said, "Our existing customer service and helpdesk
system was unsuited to the new ITIL approach that the IT department
is undertaking.
"The department's objective of achieving ITIL alignment
presented the perfect opportunity to enhance the service desk, to
deliver an all-encompassing and effective helpdesk service to
users. The e-Service Desk ticks all the boxes and more, in terms of
the superior functionality it offers."
