Charity New Philanthropy Capital (NPC) has hired Intercept to provide managed hosted IT services.

New Philanthropy Capital was set up by a group of leading City financiers, who realised that there was nowhere to go for independent advice on giving money to charity.

The three-year managed service contract for Intercept's OnlineDesktop Solution will include the provision of all business applications software, hosting in Intercept's secure data centres, and the provision of technical support to all NPC staff.

Jocelyn James, chief operating officer at NPC, said, "We needed an IT solution to support our growth. In addition, we wanted to enable our staff to work flexibly from home or an alternative location when needed, whilst ensuring information security and business continuity."
