Wayne Bowser, Deputy Head of Commercial
Banking, HSBC Bank plc
Wayne joined the Group (Midland
Bank) in 1972. He has held a succession of positions around the
Branch Network, both in the North and South of England, prior to
his current appointment as Deputy Head of Commercial Banking. Wayne
is married with a young son and enjoys walking, shooting and
fishing.
Chris Hannant, Head of Policy, British
Chambers of Commerce
Chris Hannant is Head of Policy of
the British Chambers of Commerce. The BCC unites a powerful and
influential network of Accredited Chambers of Commerce across the
UK, making it the authoritative voice of UK business.
Alexandra Kelly, Managing Director,
Powerchex
Alexandra Kelly is the founder and Managing
Director of Powerchex Ltd, an award winning, pre-employment
screening firm based in London. She has several years of
professional experience in a range of sectors including banking and
insurance, consulting, manufacturing and publishing, both in the UK
and internationally. Alexandra has worked as an operational risk
management consultant in the City where she advised on the
methodology of identifying and controlling operational risks,
focusing particularly in managing people risk. Previously she held
senior roles in financial sales and banking operations for Morgan
Stanley and Citicorp. As an accomplished executive, Alexandra has
passed on her experience during several conferences, lectures and
training seminars. In November 2007, Alexandra was awarded the
Business Person of the Year Thames Gateway Award.

Karl Schneider is Editorial
Development Director of RBI-UK, a new role created at the start of
2006 in response to the changing demands for content online and
offline driven by the Internet. Karl job is to ensure that RBI has
the editorial strategies, teams, processes and tools required to
create great content that its target audiences love, both in print
and on the web. Karl has worked for RBI-UK for 20 years, in various
editorial roles. Prior to taking on his current role, Karl was
Executive Editor of New Scientist and before that Editor-in-Chief
of Computer Weekly.
