Conveyancingfirm Grindeys has awarded LexisNexis a contract for its Axxia dna* information product.

The system will be used by all of Grindeys' 240 fee-earners and support staff.

Martin Leak, the company's practice director, said, "Being a high-volume conveyancing business and an IRIS AIM user, we were looking for new practice-management technology to help us gain a competitive edge.

"Customers want to exchange data with their legal practitioner electronically and we wanted a robust platform that gives us the flexibility to meet current and future client requirements."

Axxia dna* will be installed in all of Grindeys' offices in Stoke and Stone by October this year.

LexisNexis acquired Axxia this February.
