Sybase
iAnywherehas released the beta of "Panorama,"
code-name for the next release of its SQL Anywhere version
11data managementand synchronisation
system.
The supplier, a subsidiary of database firm Sybase, said more
than 200 new features have been added to SQL Anywhere.
New features include enhanced parallel query capabilities,
embedded full-text search, new data-synchronisation options, and
.net and Perl stored procedures to aid development.
The full commercial version of the software will be available
later this year.
