Insurance broker gets Hornbill service management

Insurance broker Towergate partnership is supporting 3,500 staff across 100 locations with IT service management software from Hornbill Systems.

The company is using Hornbill's Supportworks ITSM to support its ITIL strategy and chose it because of the ease of which it could integrate with existing systems.

Trevor Clements, technical project manager at Towergate Partnership said the company has seen exponential growth by acquisition over the last few years and needed IT service management software to help it support more IT systems.

"As a large company we require enterprise-scale infrastructure and toolsets. Supportworks ITSM enables us to both support staff with system problems and plan any changes with careful resource allocation, minimising the impact upon users and the business," he added.

The software helps the IT team create workflow and integration between systems, including in-house applications and those hosted by third parties for specialist insurance.
