Avaya introduced four bundles of hardware and
softwareat VoiceCon Orlando this week
designed to address specific business groups: teleworkers, mobile
workers, home call-centre agents and small businesses. The company
is also offering a bundle for branch offices for chain stores and
banks.
The company said the goal of the bundles is to bring together a
combination of Avaya and third-party products and services to
support business needs that are common to a broad range of
businesses at a standard price.
The teleworking bundle give workers at home all the phone
features that employees have at a company site, said the company.
The package includes support
for
Microsoft's Office Communications Server that enables
click-to-call and other features.
The call-center bundle for agents working at home is similar but
includes
integration with databases and telephone features unique to
that setting, such as hunt groups and supervisor monitoring.
