UK IT expenditure over the next 12 months is set to beat inflation, says the National Computing Centre (NCC).
Expenditure on IT is remaining buoyant despite an uncertain economic outlook, said the NCC.
A survey it conducted among 120 firms found that 58% are predicting an above-inflation increase in IT expenditure over the next 12 months.
The median growth rate in IT expenditure reported was 4.9%, outstripping the January CPI inflation figure of 2.2%.
The construction and health sectors are set to see the highest growth, said NCC.
