Standard Bank in South Africa is replacinglegacy payment systemsacross its
corporate and investment banking business globally with a system
from LogicaCMG.
The
LogicaCMG All Payments Solution (LAPS) will consolidate
payments systems and become the first global roll-out of the
LogicaCMG's High Care payments system, which is designed to be
highly configurable and rules-driven.
The bank, which operates in 38 counties, said, "LAPS High Care's
multi-entity capabilities will support a gradual migration of our
existing legacy systems, adapting to each local business
environment, while providing the ability to deliver high quality
processes and consistent standards across the group."
