Horseware Ireland, a leading manufacturer of turnout
rugs, riding clothing and accessories, has run a performance
management assessment of its business before upgrading to its
latestsupply chain system.
The firm used
Lawson Software to conduct a value assessment of its business
using Lawson Opportunity Analyzer. Opportunity Analyzer is a
strategic enterprise performance management tool that enabled
Horseware to set practical business performance targets.
Opportunity Analyzer identifies quantified financial and
non-financial gains before a customer decides whether to upgrade to
the Lawson M3 7.1 suite, Lawson's latest
supply chain offering.
An existing customer of Lawson since 2002, Horseware Ireland had
experienced wide business growth in both Europe and the US, relying
on a supply chain stretching from the Far East to Ireland and the
US.
The company felt that it was the right time to reassess its
existing infrastructure to see if and how an upgrade could help
increase revenues, reduce operating costs or improve its use of
working capital.
Lawson Opportunity Analyzer delivered a "living blueprint" to
Horseware, identifying key best practices, and untapped time and
money saving opportunities to improve sales and back-office
efficiency.
