Chrysler has signed a multi-year multi-million-dollar
IToutsourcingcontract with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
TCS will provide a comprehensive portfolio of IT services using
its Global Network Delivery Model. TCS' responsibilities will
include the delivery of application maintenance and support
services to Chrysler.
The IT services initiative will encompass a portion of the
functional areas within Chrysler, such as sales and marketing and
shared services.
The automotive industry accounted for 15.1% of TCS' full-year
£2.1bn global sales last year.
TCS' Global Network Delivery Model is a collaborative framework
of people, processes and infrastructure.
