Alcatel-Lucent has teamed up with HP on a product that
will aim to secureservice-orientated
architectures(SOAs).
The system will link SOA governance with an enterprise-wide
run-time compliance infrastructure.
A product integration brings together the HP SOA Systinet
governance software with Alcatel-Lucent's OmniAccess 8550 Web
Services Gateway.
The system enables enterprises to ensure that information access
policies built into their SOA applications is enforced at run time.
This enables enterprises to maintain strict control on access to
its private information while automating its business
processes.
"Positive trends are forming where security is designed and
embedded into business processes," said Michael Suby, an analyst at
Stratecast. "Alcatel-Lucent and HP are hitting this trend with
their joint solution that links design time policy authoring and
compliance validation with comprehensive run time enforcement."
