
Hewlett-Packardhas released
threetargeted print systemsdesigned to
address the needs of the financial services, higher education, and
retail sectors located in the EMEA region.
Hewlett-Packard said these are based on specific industry needs
and would optimise infrastructure, streamline information
workflows, manage print environments and reduce costs.
Jan Riecher, vice-president for commercial enterprise at the
Hewlett-Packard EMEA imaging and printing group, said, "By helping
companies optimise and manage their infrastructures and workflows,
we are enabling them to be more competitive through greater
productivity."
The Hewlett-Packard Campus Advantage Solution is targeted at the
higher education sector and enables universities and colleges to
make the most of their imaging and printing resources, whilst
making printing and copying simpler and easier for users, said
Hewlett-Packard.
The system delivers hardware, services and capabilities ranging
from mobile printing and user-based, per-page accounting, to the
consolidation of copying, scanning, imaging and printing devices in
a secure networked environment with user authentication.
The Hewlett-Packard Compliant Document Capture for Financial
Services Solution helps financial institutions streamline critical
document workflows, whilst simultaneously providing the increased
document security, audit trails and archival capabilities required
by industry regulations, such as Mifid.
The Hewlett-Packard Retail Marketing Automation Solution is
designed for large retail outlets and allows the easy and
cost-effective production of in-store signage, flyers, shelf
labels, coupons and catalogues, Hewlett-Packard said.
