BT is making it cheaper for firms' employees to take
their offices with them usingvoice over IP-enabled
smartphones.
A new £10 a month bolt-on tariff for the VoIP-ready BT Office
Anywhere smartphone service gives unlimited e-mail access,
unlimited calling between colleagues, unlimited internet phone
calls to UK landlines, and the ability to work on
Microsoft Office applications.
There is a choice between the HTC S710 or HTC S620 smartphones
at no extra cost, when using the service.
Unlimited calls includes those between BT mobiles, back to the
office landlines and voicemail.
The sharing of minute bundles between Office Anywhere and other
BT mobiles also means no wasted unused minutes.
VoIP calls are made through wireless broadband hotspots,
including BT Openzone, or a BT Business Total Broadband hub.
Office Anywhere is also now available minus the VoIP capability,
as a £5 a month bolt on.
