Macmillan Cancer Supportis embarking on a business transformation programme to help attract more supporters and improve service.

The process will include process redesign, IT infrastructure improvement, systems integration and change management. The technology implemented will include Microsoft Office, Sharepoint and Dynamics CRM.

The charity hopes the new technology will give it access to consistent, high-quality information about its customers after an information repository is created through the customer relationship management and content management systems. The programme is part of its response to the NHS Cancer Reform Strategy.

This, the charity says, will help it improve supporter services and fundraising.

Atos Origin is implementing the programme for Macmillan.
