Twin Valley Homeshas improved
itselectronic data compliancewith the
eDiscovery system from Waterford Technologies.
Twin Valley Homes is a non-profit organisation responsible for
over 8,000 homes in the Blackburn area.
It has implemented Waterford's MailMeter archiving system to
meet the stringent requirements of electronic data legislation,
such as the
Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA).
To avoid the possibility of severe legal penalties, the
eDiscovery (electronic discovery) element of Waterford's e-mail
archiving system enables fast and easy searches of e-mails for Twin
Valley Homes, to use as evidence of compliance.
In order to comply with RIPA, organisations such as Twin Valley
Homes must demonstrate that if a particular e-mail is requested
they are able to provide it within 24 hours.
Lee Richardson, network manager at Twin Valley Homes, said,
"MailMeter provides us with a cost effective solution for
compliance. Not only does it provide protection against legal
penalties, but also enables employees to search critical e-mails
relating to contracts and accounts sent up to two years ago quickly
and easily."
