Salesforce.comhas introduced
Salesforces 08, the latest version of its online CRM, which now
provides add-ons for managing content and capturing
ideas.
The company said Salesforce Content has been designed to help
users manage unstructured data within an enterprise by utilising
Web 2.0 technologies such as tagging, subscriptions and
recommendations. The software is designed to support users who need
to manage their documents and unstructured data directly in the
Salesforce application.
The software includes "Featured Content", a way to highlight
relevant information to end users and "Suggested Tagging", which is
designed to simplify tagging by allowing IT staff to pre-define
tags.
The product also offers Popular Search Results, which
Salesforce says
allows users to display and sort search results using pre-defined
fields and order to navigate content more easily.
