Swedish telecommunications operatorTele2has implemented thewebMethodsproduct suite across its
offices in 22 European countries.
The company said the software had been deployed to create a more
adaptive and flexible IT infrastructure to keep pace with rapid
changes in the sector.
Tele2 said the system had enabled the company to comply with new
European Union mobile phone roaming directives in just three
months.
The software enabled Tele2 to create an integration platform to
ensure interoperability between several IT systems.
In the second phase of the project, Tele2 plans to implement the
CentraSite Enterprise Edition for service lifecycle and metadata
management to monitor and manage service usage and performance to
ensure compliance with industry standards.
