Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's
Charityhas selected theDataFlux platform to improve its
fundraising.
DataFlux dfPower Studio will analyse, improve and control data
within the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity
donations database, which contains over 3.5 million records.
The fundraising arm of the
Great Ormond Street Hospital has also chosen DataFlux to gain a
unified view of its donations database.
DataFlux dfPower Studio will provide data profiling and
real-time data quality tools, which will enable the organisation to
investigate, standardise, de-duplicate, cleanse and verify data
residing within the charity's "Raisers Edge" database.
By implementing dfPower Profile, a component of the dfPower
Studio suite, the charity is able to investigate data held on
donors by geographic and socio-economic categorisation.
This information provides a clear representation of a donor's
likely level of contribution, allowing for targeted fundraising in
geographic areas where Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's
Charity has a low penetration.
Matt Forrest, head of community fundraising at Great Ormond
Street Hospital Children's Charity, said, "IT plays a vital role in
underpinning our operations, and the DataFlux dfPower Studio suite
offers clear efficiency benefits through a consistently reliable,
comprehensive view of our donors.
"We are already seeing how this will help us build long-term
relationships and understand where we can unlock further
funding."
