BNP Paribas hasoutsourcedthe management of desktop
services of its UK investment banking arm to Atos Origin in a five
year deal worth £50m.
A bespoke, global service will transform the delivery of IT
services at BNP Paribas and aims to reduce costs, increase
efficiencies and improve quality of service.
Thierry Bjalon, UK country manager for BP²I, a joint venture
between
the bank and IBM to manage IT said, "IT transformation is
critical to our business success and we have selected Atos Origin
because of its position in Financial Services, its delivery track
record and experience of managing desktop services."
