Manchester-based telecoms service provider Unicom plans
to create 100 new jobs this year in response to business
growth.
Most of the new jobs will be located in Manchester, but some
will be at Unicom's nine UK regional offices, said the firm.
The company currently employs 500 staff. The new jobs will be in
sales, credit control, customer service, IT and administration
teams.
Chris Earle, Unicom operations director, said, "We have
developed a focused small-business telecoms product and service,
and business seems to have embraced it."
Unicom provides telecoms, broadband and website services to
70,000 small businesses across the UK.
