UK fruit juice manufacturer Gerber Juices expects to
save £100,000 a year byoutsourcingthe management of its
database.
The company, which delivers to two million litres of juice-based
drinks every day across the UK, chose Quantix as its outsourcing
supplier.
Gerber said the return on investment offered by Quantix and its
range of
remote
Oracle support services was the main reason for its choice of
supplier.
"Quantix Manged Services was able to give us the range, depth,
and access to Oracle skills that we require to support our key
operational systems," said Julian Sterling, group IS director at
Gerber Juice.
The deal with Quantix will give Gerber round the clock access to
monitoring, support and best practice services for its Oracle
database.
