Anglo Beef Processors (ABP) is streamlining its
accounts-payable processes and improving its cash collection by
implementing newdocument managementand imaging
software.
ABP, which supplies beef to leading European retailers including
Sainsbury's and Asda, is rolling out Version One's full portfolio
of systems across ten sites.
This software will be tightly integrated into ABP's Movex
ERP system, enabling the electronic creation, delivery,
authorisation and storage of incoming and outgoing documents,
including invoices, proof of delivery documents and statements.
ABP is also implementing
Version One's intelligent document processing system for the
automated capture of data from purchase invoices, farmer records
and timesheets.
Dave Barratt, ABP group MIS manager, said, "Our accounts payable
and accounts receivable processes are manual-based making them
inherently time-consuming and prone to error.
"By implementing document management and imaging technology,
which will be tightly integrated into our Movex system, we are
automating these processes and eliminating paper-chasing, whilst
making substantial time and cost savings."
